the creature in the bathroom
Topic: looking back

2001:

The Creature in the Bathroom

It appeared inside the bathroom,
At half past ten.
It ate up all the tissues,
Some towels now and then.

It started to flush the toilet,
and made it overflow.
“How dare you,” I said,
“Now you must go.”

The creature didn’t listen,
And did not want to leave.
But I think he really had,
Another trick up his sleeve.

Then he pulled another trick,
As I knew he would do.
He souldn’t have done it,
He locked me in the lou.

jan. '08:

i was walking down the hall in the middle of the day
when a teacher walked out and said, "hey!"
"you shouldn't be out here, get to calss,
get back there now or i'll kick your..."

i started walkin' back, now the other way
the teacher turned around and said "hey!"
"you'd better get a move on, time's running out,
a detention if you're late boy, that'll make you 'pout!"

as my phone came out and i turned away,
that teacher lookd livid, blinked and screamed "hey!"
"don't irritate me jack, that's not what you would want,
keep pushin' your luck, i'm gonna get gawnt!"

i rolled my eyes and looked into the fray
that damn teacher looked at me, he whispered, "hey!"...

Now Playing: fake plastic trees - radiohead
Topic: thought of the day

before my prayers and before i drifted off into a strange but interesting dream, i thought about people in general and how they are driven in life. part of the reason which i was in this state of mind, would be because of the last lecture i watched by randy pausch.

reason number one: the reason people are driven in life is because they have things they want to accomplish and that they want to be happy.

reason number two: they just simply go day by day doing what they normally would do like a robot on autopilot.

reason number three: they want to prove to someone or prove to themselves that they are better than "that" and better than what others say they aren't.

i believe people are driven from anything inside of them, and these reasons, but what i think makes up majority of it is their role models.

there are good role models and bad ones. every single person is a model in life, whether they like it or not. every move they make is watched and someone may or may not like what happens. if another person doesn't like what what decision they make, they will try and not be like that. if they like what the other person does, they will try to imitate them. of course this theory leads to everyone being someone else, but really, everyone is who they are because of what they want and what they want to believe in..

be what you want to be.

although the "bad models" will seem to be cool, their life might not be what you want, so adopting something of theirs could potentially cause more problems. that would be one reason why they aren't considered good models. they wouldn't become a failure at life, they could not be the most successful in someone elses' eyes.

reason four: driven to be what they aren't yet. showing the true potential that they have.

at the moment, there are three people who inspire me to be who i want to be and sub consciously give me the drive to do my personal best every single day.

my mom told me
Topic: thought of the day

my mom told me today,

"these parents set their kids out to be who they want them to be, and not who the kids want to be. it just makes me wonder how they go about their lives. if they all have their life planned for them, they have no time to think for themselves, no time to dream their own dream."

if these people are told what to do, what to say, and not told how to act or speak for themselves. do they really know what to think, by themselves or is the work already done for them?

it's one thing to have a dream, it's another to be living it.

frustration
Mood:  hug me
Topic: repairments

when something really ticks you off, there is a sudden urgency inside of you to tell someone about it.

not knowing if you are on the right level with someone to express those feelings, or if they know anything about it, or if they don't understand what is wrong with you are all problems which cause more frustration, and lead you on and on, around the big circle.

wanting to find an exit, finding an exit: both mentally challenging.  the exit is the entrance, but you don't know where to begin looking for it.

Topic: problem solving
like always, over thinking is a true hardship! by definition, it definitely is not, but by reality, it is becoming a huge problem, especially amongst ourselves.

if i spit out what was on my mind, i would be slurring my words, unable to pronounce things, embarrassed, shy, overcoming with fear, worried, nauseous, etc. it would be a big jumble of words.

so advice to end the month: end your thoughts when you begin to realize you are blowing the idea out of proportion, second-guessing the situation and most of all, when you start to feel sick.

like always, trust your gut and you will be happy.

the sun vs. sunglasses

is the sun really blinding when you see its glare? i think so. so why are all the most simple factors in life the exact same as complicated problems?

are your eyes protected with sunglasses or are you one of those people who look straight into the sun and deal with the consequences?

maybe everyone needs a pair of sunglasses, even if it only shields their mind and not their eyes.

Topic: repairments

the hardest part is a recovery. not the pain in the beginning, or the repair, but definitely the recovery.

in my opinion, recovering takes more strength than getting up after falling, literally.

scars are purple memories, eventually the wound is healed, but still exists.

if there are stitches through a cut, do you choose to pull them out early, or do you wait till you are healed? pick at the stitches or disinfect?

same goes for mental pain: talk or hold it in?

the weather changes everyday, anything is predictable, but not definite. situations seem to go over-looked sometimes, or take no notice at all.

sticking to the point as a deeper expression:

every person, every where in the world is a weather forecaster. the only problem could be just that some do not have the resources to investigate further storms or beautiful, sunny days.

in reality, on a basic scale every person can make a 7-day forecast by the actions which are taken and how fast storms blow over.  so, why do they still get wet? or sunburned?
